Warmer temperatures!
The Weather Channel app reports that it is 45° here this evening. That is an increase of 2° from where we were two hours ago. There is hope for this chilly ride.

This Walmart in Tarboro, NC is not open 24/7. It has been a long, long time since I have seen a Walmar that closes.

Driving into the cold.
The weather certainly got chilly this evening as we drive northeast bound through North Carolina. We are just passing through Hopewell. The GPS tells us we are just over 4 hours from home.

More Gas Needed
We are now in Concord, NC getting more gas. The damage is a whopping $3.38 per gallon. With a 16 gallon auxiliary tank, it ran $54.00 out of our wallets!

Topping off the Tank
My phone believes we are in Salisbury, NC. We have 5 hours and 30 minutes to go! I anticipate making progress for about three more of those hours before we call it a night.

Riding around Greensboro.
We are just hitting the Interchange for I-85 South. The sun is starting to drop away and it is really starting to get cold. Thank the Lord for Snuggies.
Oh, and this wordfeud game I am playing with Greg really helps pass the time. It has also taught me that SNUGGIE is not an acceptable Scrabble term.

Stopping for Lunch
It could be considered early dinner by normal-day-shift people standards. Time for some McDonalds tea, a quarter plunder, and 7-11 taquitos.
